The MulTplx Splitter 2 is designed for securing wireless Bluetooth headphones. The headphones are both mechanically and electronically secured against theft and can also be charged so that the customer can try out the headphones indefinitely.
The base is glued or screwed to the surface. It is necessary to make a passage through the bottom for the charging cable (13 x 8 mm).
Then, using the supplied MulTplx pendant, a loop is made in the 130 cm steel cable. The optionally available Tetra Key is required for this. The loop is secured around the headband of the headphones to secure them against theft.
The end of the cable consists of a Micro USB or USB type C connector with which the headphones can be charged and secured. As soon as the cable is cut or the USB connection with the headphones is lost, the alarm will sound. However, if the USB C/Micro USB cable is plugged back into the headphones, the alarm will stop. To switch off the alarm, the MulTplx Reset Key is required.
Only 1 Tetra Key and 1 Reset Key are required to enable multiple Splitter 2 headphone protection. The Tetra Key and Reset Key can also be used for other MulTplx products (not sold separately).
