Security for mobile phones and tablets

You want to let your customers try the products because you know that this leads to more purchases. But how do you ensure that the products are not stolen? The freestanding Sediso GUARD2 display stand black is a complete security unit for the demonstration of mobile phones and tablets in your shop or at an exhibition. The display is equipped with a 110 dB alarm and a charging function via the mount, regardless of whether the alarm has been activated.

The GUARD2 is equipped with a metal recoiler cable (75 cm) that is wound on the inside of the display. The power supply also runs through this cable. The cable is provided with a metal housing to prevent cutting.

The alarm is built into the mount of the display where the smartphone or tablet is secured. Should the cable be cut, the alarm will continue to sound, due to the built-in battery attached to the product. By using the optionally available metal bracket, the demo product is almost impossible to pull off the mount.

The GUARD2 is the only display suitable for both Micro USB C and Micro USB and Lightning devices.

Alarm function

The alarm will sound when one of the following occurs:

• the mobile phone or tablet is pulled away from the mount
• the charging cord is pulled out of the mobile phone / tablet or mount
• the recoil cable is cut through
• the entire standard is pulled off the table

Wireless control

The display is activated by a remote control. You can use the simple on / off remote control or a programmable remote control with codes to turn individual displays on and off.

Easy installation

The GUARD2 display for mobile phones is easy to install. The bottom of the display is covered with 3M double-sided tape. This is also available separately so you can always easily mount the display in other places. The smartphone mount also features replaceable double-sided tape.

It is possible to attach the charging cable (115 cm) from the bottom of the display through a hole in the table. If a hole in the ground is not desirable or possible, the cable can also run from the outside.

Extra security

In addition to mounting with double-sided tape, the GUARD2 can be secured to the surface using the supplied M5 bolts. The charging cable can run directly through a hole in the surface to the USB charger.

In addition to the supplied double-sided tape, an optional metal bracket can also be ordered . the smartphone or tablet attached to the mount for additional mechanical protection of the smartphone against theft.

Optionally it is possible to fix the mount to the base so that the recoil cable cannot be used.

It is also possible to disconnect the demo product by loosening the safety screws. This is ideal, for example, at a trade show where the demo products are taken home. Of course the alarm will go off when you unscrew it.

Charging function smartphone and battery display

The mobile phone or tablet is charged via a micro USB connection in the mount. Of course we supply the correct short cables for this. If this cable is disconnected, the alarm will go off. The display itself is equipped with a rechargeable battery. This is charged via an included adapter. It can remain permanently connected or you can use the display without a charging cable for at least 1 month.
