The Sediso custom steel cable 3mm with loops is plastic coated to prevent corrosion and damage to the objects to be secured. The thickness of the cable is 2mm and the PVC is 1mm so that the total diameter of the cable is 3mm. The cable consists of 6x7 strands and has a minimum tensile strength of 239 kg. The steel cable is weather resistant and remains flexible.
The cable is sold per meter and the minimum purchase is 2 meters. Choose the length and diameter of the loops yourself. There is also a choice of a padlock or a discussion lock with or without the same keys (Master Keyed).
Note: the length of the loops is subtracted from the total cable length to make a loop (so 1x pi x diameter; we count 1 loop because the loop itself is part of the length of the cable). Example: you buy a cable of 4 meters and want 2 loops with a diameter of 8 cm, then the total length of the cable is approximately 400 - (3.14 x 8cm) = 400 - 25 cm (+5 cm to make the cable can clamp)= 370 cm long.
