Port Design was founded in 1992 and is based in France. Port Designs has designed a number of tablet and laptop carts and cabinets for the safe storage, loading and transport of tablets and laptops in a demanding environment. The warranty on all Port Designs carts and cabinets is 3 years on the electronics and 10 years on the metal parts.
The Port Designs tablet cabinet 10 is suitable for tablets in a cover up to and including 11 inches with the maximum dimensions of 29W x 21.9H x 2.6D cm. The cabinet is made entirely of metal. The tablets are on extendable shelves.
The door is equipped with a key lock. The USB ports provide 5V/2.1A and are mounted above the shelf. As soon as the LED lamp lights up green, the battery of the tablet is fully charged.
The cabinet is actively ventilated against overheating and is equipped with overvoltage protection. In addition, a UV lamp per compartment ensures that viruses and bacteria are rendered harmless.
Short charging cables (20 cm) are optionally available (Lightning/USB type C or Micro USB) and a wall bracket.
The Port Designs tablet cabinet 10 is suitable for tablets up to and including 11 inches and meets the 2 basic needs of storing and loading tablets at schools or companies. The cabinet is equipped with a lockable door.
STORAGE
The Port Designs tablet cabinet 10 has room for vertical storage of 10 tablets up to and with 11 inches in a cover with the maximum dimensions of 29W x 21.9H x 2.6D cm. 10 devices are stored per shelf. The shelf is extendable. The cabinet itself measures 50.5W x 36.7D x 36.7H cm and weighs 16.5 kg.
LOADING
The cabinet is equipped with 10 USB ports (5V/2.1A) for charging the tablets. The USB ports are mounted above the shelf and feature an LED indicator light that glows green when the tablet's battery is fully charged. The cabinet is equipped with Smart Charge for maximum battery life of the tablet.
SAFE
The Port Designs tablet cabinet 10 is completely made of metal and fitted with a key lock as standard.
The tablet cabinet is equipped with surge protection and protects the tablets against voltage peaks. The power supply to the tablets is also regulated for an optimal lifespan (Smart Charge). The cabinet is also actively ventilated against overheating.
As one of the few tablet cabinets, the Port Designs tablet cabinet is equipped with a UV lamp to render bacteria and viruses harmless.
OPTIONAL
Optionally available are 10 pieces of 20 cm long charging cables (USB type C or Lightning) to avoid a mess of wires. In addition, it is also possible to mount the cabinet on the wall with the optionally available wall rack.
