The Sediso 2 port alarm box on batteries is a quick and easy to install alarm system to protect laptops or other products against theft. The system works on a supplied CR2450 button cell battery so no power connection point is required.
The system consists of an alarm box that is attached to the table. Several alarm cables are available to protect almost every product:
- USB alarm cable to protect products with a USB port such as laptops
- Wing sensor alarm cable to protect almost any product with a flat surface
- Flexible wing sensor alarm cable to also protect products with curved surface
- Apple pencil sensor alarm cable to protect pens against theft
- Headphone cable alarm cable to protect ears against theft
- Loop sensor alarm cable for securing products that can be attached to a loop such as tools and headphones
The alarm cables consist of a curled part and a straight part. The total stretchable length is about 1m.
The cable is secured to the alarm box under the cover. If the alarm box or a cable is removed or cut, the alarm will go off. The alarm is activated by a remote control and turned off after it has gone off.
The alarm system is applied to the product or table to be protected by means of the supplied double-sided sticker. The part that is attached to the table can also be attached, under the cover, with the supplied screws.
Only one remote control is required to operate multiple Sediso alarm box systems. However, this is a necessary part (optionally available)
