Optimal protection

The aiShell iPad Mini 4 + 5 is one of the few protective covers for the iPad Mini that is completely dust and waterproof and has a IP68 certification . Ideal to use the iPad Mini in conditions where water resistance is a necessity such as on the water in boats and ships, door to door visits, fire brigade, hospital and other outdoor applications.

In addition to the IP68 certification, the cover also has a e shock proof rating MIL-STD-810F . This means that the iPad Mini can withstand a drop of 2 meters.

Loading

The iPad Mini 4 + 5 does not need to be taken out of the aiShell to be charged. It is possible to remove the waterproof plug from the cover at the height of the charging port, to charge the iPad Mini via the cable. In addition, a waterproof cable connection is available as an accessory. To charge the iPad Mini in the car cradle (optionally available), the car cradle connector is optionally available. This allows the iPad Mini to also be loaded into the aiShell rack element; suitable for hanging in 19 "rack mount cabinets.

The aiShell has preparations for numerous accessories, making it the most versatile ruggedized cover available. The aiShell is suitable for the RAM-mount system and can therefore be mounted on almost any surface. The following aiShell accessories are available:

aiShell quicksnapper

If it is necessary to be able to quickly attach the aiShell, but also to remove it again, then the quick snapper is the solution. The quick snapper can be mounted directly on a table or on the wall. In addition, it is possible to mount RAM-mount parts. aiShell recommends the C-Ball from RAM mount.

aiShell handle

The handle is attached at the back and is adjustable in length. The handle and shoulder strap can both be mounted.

aiShell shoulder strap

The shoulder strap is attached at the back and is adjustable in length. By installing 2 shoulder straps, the iPad can be used horizontally so that both hands are free. The handle and shoulder strap can both be mounted.

aiShell waterproof charging cable

The iPad can be easily charged without having to take it out of the case. The waterproof charging cable has a waterproof connection to the aiShell. The end of the cable is not waterproof, but a normal USB connection.

aiShell car cradle

In combination with RAM-mount (C-Ball) parts, the car cradle can be perfectly mounted in any car, van or truck, with or without screws. The car cradle is available with a 1m, 1.8m or 3m charging cable. If the iPad needs to be charged, the iPad must be equipped with the car cradle connector. This connector is also used to charge the iPad Mini, in the protective case, via the aiShell 19 inch rack mount.

aiShell car cradle connector

The car cradle connector is screwed to the aiShell and has no cable but 4 contact points. This makes the solution very robust and the protective cover is firmly in the car cradle.
