Uvisan specializes in UV-C carts that kill 99.99% of all viruses and bacteria on equipment or materials placed in the cart. Widely used by companies with VR glasses to disinfect them after use. Also ideal for hospitals and clinics where tablets are often used to disinfect them quickly and easily after use. The Uvisan carts are tested and certified according to IEC 62471, the international standard for photobiological safety.
The Uvisan VR12 has 12 USB A ports (5V/2.1A=10.5W max.) built in to charge all kinds of equipment during disinfection. There is room for 12 Pico VR headsets or 6 laptops of max. 13" or 12 tablets in racks.
DISINFECTION BY UV-C
The UV-C radiation in the carts kills 99.99% of all viruses and bacteria on the surface of materials. The UV-C radiation is reflected by the entire cart so that all nooks and crannies also receive a radiation dose. The UV-C destroys the DNA of viruses, bacteria and fungi so that they can no longer multiply.
After the equipment has been placed in the cart, and possibly connected to the USB A ports, the doors are closed and the disinfection start button (timer) is pressed. Normally, the standard set cycle of 2 minutes is sufficient, but this can also be extended. The UV-C lamps switch off automatically and the equipment can be removed from the cart or charged further.
If the door is not closed properly, or is opened during the irradiation, the UV-C lamps switch themselves off. The lamps last approximately 9000 hours (270000 cycles of 2 minutes). The lamps can be replaced.
The Uvisan carts are tested and certified according to IEC 62471, the international standard for photobiological safety. An absolute requirement for products that use UV-C because this radiation is also potentially dangerous for humans.
EFFICIENT CHARGING
The Uvisan VR12 cart is equipped with 12 USB A ports (5V/2.1A) for charging all kinds of equipment. There is a built-in timer that can be used to set at what times and for how long charging can take place. The USB A ports are located in a separate compartment at the rear of the cart where the charging cables can be connected (one-time installation).

Racks for tablets or Chromebooks are not included but are optionally available.
UNIVERSAL
The Uvisan VR12 can be used to disinfect anything that fits in the cart. Think of VR glasses, Chromebooks, tablets, smartphones, but also keyboards, mice and all kinds of other equipment that is regularly touched and must be disinfected in order not to infect the next user.

The dimensions of the cart are 75l x 40w x 86h cm. The dimensions of a shelf are 60l x 25w x 20h.
SAFE AND MOVABLE
The VR12 from Uvisan is equipped with a lock for both the doors at the front and the top where the control equipment is located. The keys for the different compartments are different and a set is included for each compartment.
The tablet cart consists of a welded steel construction with an ergonomic handle. Because the tablet cart is equipped with 4 swivel wheels, it is easy to move. Two of the castors are easy to lock and unlock.
