Kensington has designed a universal security cabinet for the safe storage, transport and charging of tablets, Chromebooks and Ultrabooks up to and including 14 inches. The dimensions of a drawer are 25.4 cm wide, 35.4 cm deep and 4.5 cm high. The cabinet is made of metal and the front and back panel can be opened with the same set of keys.
The cabinet is equipped with 4 castors, 2 of which have a brake. There is a handle at the back to grip the cabinet properly. The 12 drawers are extendable. The AC adapters are placed through a separate door at the rear of the cart. The cables can be led through the side panel to the front.
The internal sockets are equipped with surge protection. The cart can be secured using the separately available Kensington PC lock (K64615).
SUITABLE FOR 12 DEVICES UP TO 14 INCHES
The Kensington Secure Laptop and Tablet Cart fits up to 12 devices up to 14 inches. The dimensions of a drawer are 25.4 cm wide, 35.4 cm deep and 4.5 cm high. The cart is therefore suitable for almost all tablets with or without a protective cover, Chromebooks and smaller laptops. The cart is equipped with 12 extendable drawers and 12 sockets. The cart is therefore suitable for storing and protecting various devices against theft.
The Kensington tablet and laptop cart is equipped with 4 swivel wheels and a handle for easy moving. 2 wheels are equipped with brakes.
The cabinet is locked with a key. 2 keys are included. The dimensions of the cabinet are 42 cm wide, 71.5 cm high and 59 cm deep. The cart can be secured using the optionally available Kensington PC security cable (K64615).
SAFE AND FAST LOADING OF 12 TABLETS, CHROMEBOOKS OR LAPTOPS
The cabinet comes with 12 built-in sockets for connecting your own AC adapters or USB chargers. The adapters are placed via the back of the cart, which can be reached via a separate lockable door. Brackets are provided for placing the adapters.
The back panel is opened with the same key as the front door. Once the rear panel is open, the side panel can also be removed. The cabinet is equipped with ventilation holes to prevent overheating. The cart can be supplied with power via the on-off button on the front. The total wattage of all devices added together may not exceed 2400 watts.
CABLE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
The cables of the AC adapters are routed through the rear compartment via the take the side panel forward where each shelf has its own exit. The cables can be rolled up and fixed to the side panel. 40 cable wraps are included as well as numbering for the shelves.
